CF TOTF Legends
The TOTF Legends page is where we pay homage to some of our more influential coaches who have moved on from the program. These individuals were instrumental in making TOTF a reality, continuing the success of TOTF and giving of their time, effort and expertise to the program to make all of the other members great. Without their contributions we would not have the program we have today.

I started CrossFit at CrossFit Omaha 5 years ago. When the call went out for volunteers to begin a Functional Fitness-based program for Offutt, I jumped at the chance to help. I started crossfit in late 2011 after watching my first Crossfit Games on ESPN. A few weeks later I had a friend who had recently completed their Level 1 show me some of the basic movements of crossfit. I cut my hand doing an overhead squat in a power rack with only 65 pounds on the bar which is a relatively light weight for me. From then I wanted to do what I could to better execute all things crossfit. A journey that I am happy to continue everyday.

Coach Carly Costello
Occupation: USAF, Public Affairs Officer
TOTF Status:Veteran
Family: Husband Greg
I am from Marietta, Georgia, born and raised, but my father was born in Omaha and raised in Kansas, so it’s nice to be in the fatherland.
I started CrossFit two years ago with a box in my hometown. I had been working with a personal trainer for a couple years prior to starting CrossFit, but I never saw or felt the results I wanted. My best friend convinced me to join her box and within a month of starting CrossFit, I felt and looked stronger. I know what CrossFit has done for me so I am here to preach and teach it to others looking to improve themselves. Plus I just like picking up heavy things and putting them down.
Favorite WOD: Grace and anything with snatches
Certificates: CrossFit Level 1 trainer, USAW Olympic Weightlifting Level 1 trainer
Goals: In the next year, plan to accomplish my first muscle-up, PR more than 200 pounds on squats and snatch more than 120 pounds. 2015 Regionals better watch out!

I am from Johnstown, NY, but have been all around the world with the Navy.
I started CrossFit in 2009. I rolled to shore duty in the worst shape of my life. I quickly plateaued working out on my own, then a friend introduced me to CrossFit. Almost immediately, I started getting leaner, stronger and faster. I coach to help others experience similar life changes. The combination of community and constantly varied exercise make it an unbeatable experience.
Favorite WOD: Team WODs and running.
Certificates: CrossFit Level 1 trainer, CrossFit Endurance (Running), and CrossFit Nutrition
Goals: Continue to grow the TACFIT community.

Occupation: USAF, Family Physician
TOTF Status: Veteran

I am from all over but Seattle is about as close to hometown as I get.
I love learning new things and working with my hands.
I started CrossFit in 2008 and loved it from day one. For many years it was a hobby and a fitness routine. Now it is a comfortable habit. I always knew I wasn’t as well rounded or functionally fit as I wanted to be but I didn’t know how to get there. CrossFit did it for me. It was like a radioactive spider bite. It has changed me in many ways and made me a better physician.
Favorite WOD: There’s no favorite that’s what I like about “constantly varied”.
Certificates: CrossFit Level 1 trainer
Goals: General Physical Preparedness for life.
